ABC Pulls Don’t Trust The B—- In Apartment 23 From Schedules
Krysten Ritter comedy Don’t Trust the B—- In Apartment 23 has been pulled from the schedules by broadcaster ABC.
The unsurprising move, given its ratings, effectively means the show has been quietly axed by ABC although the broadcaster is unlikely to officially admit so until later this year. However, the comedy is unlikely to find another home in ABC’s schedules anytime soon and given its poor performance the network will not be in any hurry to find it a new slot.
Replacing the comedy ABC will air a double-bill of Happy Endings on Tuesday evenings starting next week. The comedy will likely air back-to-back episodes until the return of Dancing with the Stars in late March.
Don’t Trust The B—- In Apartment 23 was originally developed by Fox but was picked up by ABC in 2011. However, the network originally intended to air it under the name Apartment 23. The broadcaster then changed the show’s name back to its original title but to avoid controversy decided not to use the word bitch.
