Jeremy Kyle testicular cancer battle revealed

It has been revealed that chatshow host Jeremy Kyle has been given the all-clear after battling testicular cancer.

The host of ITVs The Jeremy Kyle Show is said to be recovering well according to a friend who spoke to The Sun newspaper, adding: “He’s now had the all clear – so hopefully he stopped it in its tracks.”

“He’s having a good break now and getting a bit of sunshine to lift his spirits. He hopes to be back filming his show soon. He won’t let this beat him.” – A friend speaking to newspaper

Jeremy Kyle has spent a large amount of time in America filming a US version of his fiery chat-show. It was when he was returning to the UK for Christmas that he discovered a lump.

As you may have read in the press this morning, Jeremy was diagnosed with cancer just before Christmas. After an operation and chemotherapy treatment, I’m pleased to say he’s now on the mend.

It’s been a really tough couple of months for him and his family but he wanted to let you all know that he appreciates your continuing support. Jeremy will be back at work next week to start filming new shows which you’ll see on TV very soon. – Statement on show’s Facebook page

A spokesperson for Kyle has said he is currently resting abroad following surgery.

The Jeremy Kyle Show airs weekdays at 9.25am on ITV.
