Heidi and Spencer finish second in Celebrity Big Brother

Reality TV stars Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have finished in second place in tonight’s Celebrity Big Brother final.

The couple proved controversial during their stay in the house due to their refusal to complete tasks and the way they treated their fellow housemates.

Heidi told host Brian Dowling she had found the experience “really hard” while husband Spencer affirmed that viewers had seen the real them in the house.

Spencer then described negative press coverage the pair had received as “brilliant” with Heidi adding “it’s just a game”.

Of the controversial clapping incident after fellow housemate Claire failed to receive a letter from home due to them refusing to participate in a task which would’ve seen them separated, Heidi insisted her clapping had been taken out of context, saying she was clapping because she was “proud of her marriage”.

They added that they were aware the Big Blogger task was fake but admitted that they didn’t know it was the other housemates asking the questions during the task.

Asked about the number of times they were nominated, Spencer said he didn’t go into Big Brother to make new friends.

The pair ended the interview on a positive note thanking fans for their support.
