Big ratings for Celebrity Big Brother finale

An audience of 3.25 million viewers saw Rylan Clark win Celebrity Big Brother last night.

The figure is one of the highest for the reality series since it switched to Channel 5 from Channel 4, a source notes.

Clark saw off competition from runners-up Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt. The American couple have been a constant talking point throughout the series due to explosive clashes with all of their housemates. Neighbours actor Ryan Moloney finished third, Steps vocalist Claire Richards was in fourth while former footballer Neil Ruddock was the first finalist to leave.

Elsewhere The Last Leg on Channel 4 at 9.30pm attracted just 887,000 viewers. The show, spawned from a hit run during Channel 4’s Paralympic coverage, sees comedian Adam Hills host a look back at the week’s news with panellists Josh Widdicombe and Alex Brooker.
