Lesley Baker Returning To Neighbours

Neighbours-mediumActress Lesley Baker is reprising her role of Angie Rebecchi on Neighbours, with the Aussie saga’s official website noting that it will be for a ‘brief stint’.

Angie, matriarch of the Rebecchi clan, will head back to Erinsborough once again in the coming months but bosses are remaining tight-lipped over what her return will entail.

Baker first played the character between 1995 and 1996 and has returned on numerous occasions; the last in 2008. Prior to that the actress was a part of the soap’s 20th anniversary occasions. Baker’s other notable roles include fellow Reg Watson soap Prisoner – known as Prisoner Cell Block H in the UK – as well as dramas The Flying Doctors, Blue Heelers, Matlock Police and City Homicide.

The character of Angie is just one of several familiar faces returning to Neighbours this year. The on-screen return of Angie will take place in February for Australian viewers and March for UK viewers.
