Sky One Orders Two-Part Finale For Mad Dogs
Sky One has ordered a two-part story to conclude its drama series Mad Dogs.
Sky One has announced that it has ordered a third season of its BAFTA nominated drama Mad Dogs which will consist of a two-part story to conclude the series. Mad Dogs launched on Sky One in 2011 and stars Marc Warren, John Simm, Max Beesley and Phillip Glenister.
Mad Dogs was created by Cris Cole, who will pen the final two episodes, whose previous television credits include episodes of The Bill and the short-lived soap Night and Day. Mad Dogs premiered on Sky One in February 2011 with its first episode scoring an overnight rating of nearly 1 million viewers. However, ratings figures revealed the episode was actually seen by 1.6 million viewers making it the 17th most watched programme ever on Sky One.
The two-part finale of Mad Dogs will begin production in February with it scheduled to air in the Spring on Sky One.
