Paul Sinha who is currently starring in ITV’s The Chase says,

“I hope I managed to bring some light hearted lunchtime relief to Londoners. It was great to team up with Rhys, Erich and Jim for such a worthy cause. I use humour as a way to make people feel better, but for many people going through a tough time, Samaritans is a lifeline. I hope today’s event has encouraged people to help raise vital funds for the charity by taking part in Feel Good Friday.”

Sponsored by healthcare provider, Simplyhealth, for the second consecutive year, Feel Good Friday aims to get companies to take part in ‘feel good’ themed activities, in return for a donation to Samaritans. Employees are being encouraged to organise feel good activities such as hosting a comedy night or sponsoring colleagues to do something funny – like wearing slippers to work.

Every year Samaritans answers millions of calls for help from people struggling to cope, costing the charity approximately £3.83 every time.
