Netflix present the best of British period dramas
Whether you enjoy escaping to another era for the evening, or simply want to marvel at some old-fashioned British charm, Netflix is offering a range of fancy frocks and frilly shirts as they let us indulge in some of the best British historic dramas, ranging from Downton Abbey to North and South.
Highlights this fortnight include:
Downton Abbey
The third series of the popular ITV production arrives at Netflix from today.

A Dangerous Method
This 2011 movie directed by David Cronenberg stars Viggo Mortensen, Michael Fassbender, Keira Knightley and Vincent Cassel.

Young Victoria
Eighteen-year-old British royal Victoria ascends to the throne and is romanced by future husband Prince Albert in this emotionally-charged period film from 2009.

Pride and Prejudice
The BBC production from 1995 starring Colin Firth, Jennifer Ehle, Julia Sawalha and Crispin Bonham-Carter.
