Neighbours producer insists Chris will see more ‘romantic opportunities’

Neighbours executive producer Richard Jasek has confirmed that Chris Pappas (James Mason) will see more ‘romantic opportunities’ in the near future.

Speaking to Digital Spy, Jasek has said that Chris will head into new directions following the departure of his close friends this year.

Jordan Smith who plays Andrew Robinson and Valentina Novakovic who plays Natasha Williams are due to leave Ramsay Street later this year.

“Chris will find himself in some interesting situations this year, and while it appears his friends’ circle has moved on, this is a character who is extremely warm and friendly and will never be on his own.” – Richard Jasek

Jasek has said that Aidan Foster (Bobby Morley) could return at some point to rekindle his romance with Chris. “I think the Chris and Aidan relationship has evolved beautifully. Aidan could certainly return in the future. However, for the moment, there will be more romantic opportunities for Chris.”
