EastEnders denies Matt Lapinskas return for Walford wedding

An EastEnders spokesperson has confirmed that there are no plans for Matt Lapinskas to return to the BBC One soap.

The Sun suggested that Matt, who played Anthony Moon, could return for the wedding of his on-screen brother Tyler Moon (Tony Discipline) who is engaged to Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty).

Anthony left Walford last year after losing the family’s antiques business in a game of poker with Derek Branning (Jamie Foreman).

Matt is currently taking part in ITV’s Dancing on Ice in which he was controversially saved by all but one judge on Sunday following a fall during the skate-off with X Factor 2005 winner Shayne Ward.
