PM Cameron makes cameo in One Direction video
It’s all for charity.
Prime Minister David Cameron will appear with One Direction in a music video to raise money for Comic Relief.
One Direction have recorded this year’s charity release which sees them take on Blondie’s One Way or Another and the Undertones’ Teenage Kicks. Downing Street officials have confirmed that the band were welcomed to the famous street at the end of last year.
His cameo is not the first time a serving Prime Minister has taken part in the Red Nose Day fun to raise money. Former Prime Minister Tony Blair welcomed Catherine Tate into the Downing Street offices as she appeared as character Lauren, on work experience in 2007.
The announcement came as No.10 confirmed that the government would cover the cost of VAT on the sales of the song by “a charitable donation that will be the equivalent of the VAT“.
Red Nose Day takes place on Friday 15th March.
WHAT? GORMLESS CAMERON in a pop video as hes as popular as a FART IN A PHONE BOX and as much use as a HORNET ON A NUDIST BEACH. CAMERON should stop making himself look a total pratt when he already is that.
