Julia Marie Berman Leaving General Hospital

Actress Julia Marie Berman has announced she is leaving ABC soap General Hospital.

The actress’ exit from the medical soap was announced in Soaps in Depth. Berman plays Lulu Spence on the ABC series; the daughter of Laura (Genie Francis) and Luke (Anthony Geary) General Hospital’s iconic super-couple.

A final airdate for Berman has not been announced but it is expected the actress will not appear in the soap’s 50th anniversary episodes which will air in April. Reportedly producers are seeking to recast the role once more.
