Cult moved to graveyard slot on The CW

The-CW-mediumCult, starring former Vampire Diaries actor Matt Davis, is to be moved to a new graveyard slot on the CW after low ratings.

It’s latest episode pulled in just 880,000 viewers with a 0.3 18-49 rating for Tuesday’s outing, which left ATV Today asking how long would the show last in the slot – it seems our question was answered sooner than we expected with CW announcing that it will be shifting the show from its 9pm slot to a sure-axe ‘graveyard’ Friday outing for the rest of its run.

Although ratings have been deemed too low, the second episode did pull in a slightly higher number of viewers than its first outing which managed 860,000 on February 19th.

The Tuesday slot will see Beauty and the Beast repeated to fill the Cult void in the short-term.
