ATV Choice: Sing Date

We all miss Cilla Black and her Blind Date don’t we? Well we at ATV Today certainly do. And while there have been many series since, none have managed to match-up to LWT’s classic. However there are still some worthy of a watch and Sky’s Sing Date puts a talent twist on the dating telly game.

In tonight’s edition we see, inspired by the harmonious unions Beyoncé and Gwen Stefani have forged with musical men, a nurse from West Bromwich who is hoping her passion for singing will hook a perfect partner.

Using the online Sing Date database, the 31-year-old mum enjoys a series of duets via webcam with crooners determined to charm their way into her heart with special versions of Take That’s ‘Relight My Fire’.

A family man from Wales and an old-fashioned romantic from London are among the singletons trying to be the Jason Orange to her Lulu, but who will she pick to join her on stage?
