Hollyoaks: Finn O’Connor returns to the village

Hollyoaks character Finn O’Connor is set to return to the show next month with a new actor in the part.

Keith Rice has taken over the role from Connor Wilkinson, who left the show in 2011. Finn is the brother of Sinead (Steph Davis) and stepson of Diane played by Alex Fletcher. Digital Spy reports that Rice has already commenced filming in the role.

The O’Connor’s arrived in Hollyoaks in 2010 and have been at the centre of a number of huge storylines during their time in the teen saga. One plot involving Finn proved controversial; it saw the character, then aged 12, have underage sex with Amber Sharpe of the same age.

Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4 with a first look on E4 week nights at 7pm and weekend omnibuses on E4.  Viewers can also catch up on demand at 4oD.
