Engelbert Humperdinck sends open letter to Bonnie Tyler

Last year’s Eurovision hopeful Engelbert Humperdinck has written an open letter to Bonnie Tyler.

Englebert Humperdinck

It was revealed earlier this week that the Welsh singer will represent the UK at this year’s Eurovision song contest which will take place in Malmo, Sweden on 18th May. Her best known hits include Total Eclipse of the Heart and Holding out for a Hero.

Dear Bonnie,

I wanted to take this opportunity to congratulate you on being the one to represent our wonderful country.

The Eurovision was such a great step in my career and with the grand support of the BBC and my beloved country behind me, the loss of winning had me stepping on a loose unforgiving stone on a pyramid to paradise.

But paradise will always be there for someone else to triumph in fair judgment to pride our country once again.

Most Sincerely, Engelbert.

PS. You can do it Bonnie.

The contest last year, held in Baku, Azerbaijan, seen the UK receive just 12 points in total as the legendary crooner sang Love Will Set You Free.

Bonnie will be performing the song Believe In Me, which was written by Desmond Child, Lauren Christy and Christopher Braide, and produced by David Huff. It was recorded at Blackbird Studios, Nashville, Tennessee and mixed at Eargasm Studios, Santa Monica California by Justin Niebank.
