The series sees the Got To Dance judge, pictured above with (L-R) host Davina McCall, Kimberly Wyatt and Aston Merrygold, and the unlikeliest of street dancers from around the UK surprising groups of friends and family with an incredible performance under the tutorage of Ashley Banjo.
From dinner ladies, to darts players, to a squad of policeman, Ashley showed them all how learning to Street Dance is not just about mastering new steps but about gaining self-confidence and for many it turned out to be a life-changing experience. For one group of darts players; the experience lead to them performing on one of Diversity’s 2012 tour dates.
Ashley Banjo adds, “I am so excited to get started on a third series. It always shocks us how all the groups are so different and seeing their final performances makes us so proud. It’s about people stepping out of their comfort zones and discovering what they can do if they try”
