Mary Tyler Moore Show ‘reunion’ on Hot in Cleveland

Mary Tyler Moore ShowThe former cast of The Mary Tyler Moore Show are to be reunited on current sitcom Hot in Cleveland, including an appearance by Valerie Harper who recently revealed she is dying from brain cancer.NBC report that it will be the first time the main cast of the The Mary Tyler Moore Show will have reunited on television and the first time they’ve all been seen together on the small screen  since the shows demise in 1977.

Hot in Cleveland, which launched in 2010, already has in its regular cast ex-Mary Tyler Moore actress Betty White as well as Georgia Engel who has a recurring semi regular role. they’ll be joined by Valerie Harper, Cloris Leachman and of course Mary Tyler Moore.

In the episode to be recorded next month Betty White’s 1970s co-stars will play her former bowling teammates called GLOB who dispanded after rows over whom was the best player.

At the beginning of March Valerie Harper announced that she around six months to live following being diagnosed with leptomeningeal carcinomatosis, teriminal brain cancer which sees the desise attack the fluid-filled membrane of the brain.

“I’m not dying until I do. I promise I won’t,” she told NBC’s Today breakfast show, adding, “More than hopeful, I have an intention to live each moment fully.”

Hot In Cleveland airs on USA broadcaster TV Land.
