Vincent Simone wants the Beeb to take Hart.
Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Vincent Simone has revealed popular actress and comedian Miranda Hart fancies taking to the television ballroom dance floor in the future.
Talking to drivetime host Paul Lovett on Southend & Chelmsford Radio Vincent discussed the hit BBC One contest. Speaking live on-air he chatted yesterday afternoon just before he started his show Midnight Tango at The Cliffs Pavillion with Flavia which is on all this week.
On the subject of the professional dancers getting to choose the celebrity they’re partnered with on the series he said,
“Well I got Edwina Currie that tells you something… they mainly go with the personality to make sure you get on”.
The topic turned to Miranda Hart, a darling of the beeb at the moment,
“I know Miranda very well and she said one day she wants to do the quickstep with me.” Vincent Said, adding, “But she wants to be the man as she is taller than me. So that is a promise, I will do that at some point”.
In addition he said: “It’s only 15 hours a week really of training and they manage to do those performances, its a miracle”.
