The Bible for Channel 5

Channel 5Channel 5 is to air American mini-series The Bible which comes to the network this autumn.

From Genesis to Revelation, The Bible features some of the most famous stories ever written and some of the most iconic characters from Noah’s Ark and the Exodus to Daniel in the Lion’s Den and the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus. Created by renowned producer and three time Emmy Award winner Mark Burnett the five-part, ten-hour programme combines unforgettable and profound stories with live action and state-of-the-art computer-generated imagery.

Marie-Claire Dunlop, Acquisitions & Channel Manager Channel 5 said “The show has been nothing short of a sensation, watched by millions of people in the states. To have it on Channel 5 is incredibly exciting – these are stories that can’t fail to draw you in.”

The Bible series is being produced for History Channel by Lightworkers Media and Hearst Entertainment & Syndication.
