ATV Choice: House of Anubis

House of AnubisNickelodeon’s hit, Bafta-nominated live-action mystery, House of Anubis, returns today with more drama, suspense, adventure and on Nickelodeon.

Season three sees the students uncover an ancient mystery at their English boarding school while dealing with the highs and lows of teenage years.

This term the Sibuna gang returns to Anubis House with new leader Eddie (Burkely Duffield) as the Osirian. It’s up to team Sibuna to untangle the mystery and stop the adults from unleashing an evil so great it will destroy the world and everyone in it. The new season will feature returning favourite characters and will also introduce new faces including KT (Alexandra Shipp), a sunny and tenacious American girl who becomes a vital part of the Sibuna gang and Willow (Louisa Connelly-Burnham) a bright and quirky student from another boarding house. Season three of House of Anubis will air on Nickelodeon as forty half-hour episodes and is produced by Hollyoaks’ Lime Pictures with Studio 100.

“We’re especially proud of the success of House of Anubis over the past two years,” said Tina McCann, SVP, Managing Director, Nickelodeon UK & Ireland. “The show is a locally produced hit and is consistently a massive ratings winner for us; season two was the number one rating show on Nickelodeon across its nine weeks of transmission. New faces and a brand new mystery will no doubt ensure series three is just as successful.”

In the premiere episode today, Eddie recognises new girl KT from a vision that he has had. She’s been sent to Anubis House on a secret mission by her grandfather with only a key to help her. Eddie manages to get his hands on the key and has another frightening revelation when he touches it. A new teacher, Miss Denby, also arrives and is protecting something very special to her… but what is it? Fabian finds Nina’s locket amongst Eddie’s things and Eddie is forced to come clean about why Nina’s not coming back to Anubis House.

“The third series of House of Anubis pushes all the buttons in terms of action and suspense. The pride, passion and dedication of a hard working, skilled cast and crew at Lime Pictures are all there on screen for the audience to enjoy,” said Lucy Martin, House of Anubis Series Producer.

An established Nickelodeon hit in Europe, House of Anubis is the first-ever Nickelodeon US live-action show produced in the UK. The show also airs on other Nick channels around the world.
