All My Children and One Life To Live to return to TV screens

One-Life-to-Live-alt-logoFollowing an online revival soap operas All My Children and One Life to Live have been picked up for transmission by a Canadian broadcaster.

American soap One Life to Live began broadcasting on the ABC network in 1968 while All My Children joined the schedules in 1970. Both were ditched by ABC, however plans to relaunch them online as internet only episodes were put into action last year, with the new versions set to be accessible to American audiences later this month.

The shows will now also return to screens in Canada with the FX channel in the country announcing it will air both serials from April the 29th. The half hour editions, produced by Prospect Park, will return to screens two years after the last television episodes aired.

Recent casting news for the serials has seen a mix of former actors from the original productions cast alongside newcomers for the revivals.

Episodes of All My Children, and One Life to Live, will be available to watch on the Hulu and iTunes platforms in America and broadcast on FX Canada.
