Inside North Korea pulls in over 5 million to BBC One

PanoramaThe Panorama programme looking at life inside the secretive state of North Korea attracted 5.1 million viewers on Monday evening.

The BBC had been in the news in the run up to the programme airing after it was revealed that reporter John Sweeney and two other journalists with Panorama sneaked into North Korea by posing with a group of students from the London School of Economics.

The LSE had called for the programme to be pulled after some claimed that the BBC put the students in danger and risksĀ furtherĀ trips to North Korea.
