Second Inbetweeners film to be in Australia

All four main characters are expected to be back in The Inbetweeners 2, expected next year.

According to The Sun James Buckley, Simon Bird, Joe Thomas and Blake Harrison have signed up for a new film which will see the four go backpacking in Australia.

The first film in 2011 was spawned from the successful TV series which seen ratings for digital channel E4 hit a high of 3.7 million viewers. Creators and writers Damon Beesley and Iain Morris closed the door on making any new series.

The first film seen the characters Will, Simon, Jay and Neil travel on their first lads holiday to Malia in Crete and went on to be one of the most successful British comedy films of all time.
