ABC Orders Once Upon A Time Spin-Off

ABC has ordered the proposed Once Upon A Time spin-off set in Wonderland.

The spin-off will be titled Once Upon A Time In Wonderland and will star Sophie Lowe as Alice. The spin-off will be a new take on Lewis Carroll’s classic tale and, of course, Wonderland has already been visited within the Once Upon A Time universe.

Starring alongside Sophie Lowe in the spin-off will be Michael Socha, John Lithgow and Peter Gadiot. It is also expected that Barbara Hershey will also appear in the spin-off though the participation of Sebastian Stan as the Mad Hatter remains unclear. When reports of the spin-off first emerged it was suggested the producers were seeking to re-cast the character because Sebastian Stan was unavailable but this was later denied by producers. The official ABC description for the series seemingly doesn’t mention the Mad Hatter…..

An invisible cat, a hookah smoking caterpillar and playing cards that talk are just some of the fantastic things she’s seen during this impossible adventure.
