Tulisa bailed following drugs arrest

The X Factor TulisaTulisa Contostalvos has been bailed following her arrest earlier today on suspicion of supplying class A drugs.

The Sun – with audio footage to support their claim – revealed on Sunday how one of its undercover reporters approached Tulisa on a night out, asking if she could supply cocaine.

She replied: “Half my phone book sells it. Of course I can get it for you.

“Half the guys I know are drug dealers. One’s a massive cocaine dealer. He’s my best friend. He’s a gangster – he’s my gangster.”

The ‘Young’ singer went on to describe the code words she uses when speaking to a dealer.

“We talk in lingo. Like we know what. I can’t call him and go, ‘Have you got any?’ I’ll say, ‘Hi, have you got any sweets? And he’ll be like, ‘Um, how many sweets do you want?’

“And I’ll say, ‘Oh just a nice bag of sweets.’ And he goes, ‘How big a bag?’ I’ll say maybe like ‘Four sweets’ — and I’m referring to what he knows is what. Like we have a whole lingo.”

Tulisa then passed on contact details for a dealer, whom the paper later contacted to arrange a deal involving £800 worth of cocaine at London’s Dorchester hotel.

The former X Factor judge was arrested earlier today along with a 35-year old man in connection to the incident. The pair were held in custody at Belgravia Police station for several hours, while officers searched Tulisa’s Herfordshire Mansion.

Confirming that they have now bailed the singer, a statement read: “Officers from Westminster have  today, Tuesday, June 4, arrested two people – a 35-year-old man and a  24-year-old woman – by appointment at a central London police station on  suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.

“Both have now been bailed pending further inquiries to a date in late July. Searches have been completed at two residential addresses.”

Tulisa could face life in prison and a fine for supply of drugs, or seven years in prison and a fine for posession if found guilty.
