Celebrity Big Brother: Lauren Harries takes third place

Lauren Harries has finished in third place in tonight’s Celebrity Big Brother final.

Joining Emma Willis for her post-eviction interview, Lauren said “It feels good to be out. It’s a surreal experience, I don’t think anyone realises how surreal.”

Emma asked Lauren if she ever thought she might win the show.

Lauren: “I think everybody has that thought but I’m so pleased to be third, it doesn’t matter.”

Emma pointed out how Lauren had wanted to go on Big Brother for a long time and asked whether the experience was how she imagined it would be.

“It was thirteen people and nobody really knew me and understood me and it took a long time for them to understand me but they did and that’s all that mattered.” replied Lauren.

Emma asked Lauren how it felt to be around so many people as she normally spends all of her time with her family.

“It wasn’t easy because I’m not used to so many people,” Lauren explained.

Lauren said she felt she had gained independence in the house.

“I didn’t expect to be third, I didn’t expect to stay this long so this to me is just wonderful.” she added.

Speaking about her close friendship with Courtney Stodden, Lauren said: “She was so honest and so beautiful…we were the blonde bombshells. We did get on [and] we had a lot in common.”

Lauren said of Carol “She wouldn’t put up with any crap, she’s a very honest woman and you’ve got to respect that.”

Lauren described Charlotte as a “sweetheart” but said she would like Abz to win the show.
