American Drama White Collar Dropped By Alibi

White-CollarUK TV channel Alibi has dropped the American police drama White Collar.

A representative for the digital channel told Digital Spy that Alibi had no plans “for now” to air the fourth season of the popular drama. White Collar stars Matt Bomer and Tim DeKay and is due to launch its fifth season on USA network on October 17th.

Alibi picked up the UK rights to White Collar after it was dropped by Sky Living which aired the first series. Alibi screened the second and third series after it won the UK rights. Alibi also screens other American imports such as The Closer, The Glades, Castle and Rizzoli & Isles alongside repeats of British dramas such as Miss Marple, Murder in Mind and Waking the Dead.

UK fans of White Collar need not despair as its possible another broadcaster, such as 5 USA, may pick up the rights.
