Under The Dome Coming To Lovefilm

Lovefilm will offer subscribers the hit new American drama series Under the Dome.

Broadcast reports that Lovefilm – owned by retailer Amazon – has signed a new deal with CBS Studios International to bring the Stephen King thriller to its millions of subscribers. However, those wishing to see Under the Dome will have a little while to late as it won’t come to Lovefilm until June 2014.

“We are absolutely thrilled to add such a quality show with so much pedigree to our already extensive collection of great TV series.” – Chris Bird, Lovefilm’s director of content strategy.

Under the Dome has been the biggest drama hit of the Summer season in America. Ratings for the series have topped 10 million viewers per episode and broadcaster CBS has already renewed it. The adaptation of the Stephen King novel stars Mike Vogel, Britt Robinson, Rachelle Lefevre and Aisha Hinds.

Under the Dome currently airs on Channel Five, in the UK, on Mondays at 10pm.
