Tales of Beatrix Potter with Nadine Hanwell

Following the successful Beatrix Potter Family Festival earlier this month actress Nadine Hanwell – a direct descendant of Beatrix Potter – is to bring to life once more the work of Beatrix Potter at the StoryStock event at the Bush Theatre this weekend.

StoryStock is a storytelling circus for children up to the age of thirteen and their families, the event offers a chance to listen to popular author’s stories, learn how to write stories, act in stories, draw stories and have a story party.

The event launches at Bush Theatre in Shepherds Bush, West London, on 31st October 2013 and runs through to November 2nd.

Nadine’s great-great-grandfather was Beatrix’s great-uncle Sidney Potter and the actress, possibly best known to television audiences for her role in ATV’s top rating serial Crossroads, will once again bring the work of Beatrix to life on Saturday November 2nd at 11am.

We have got a true life relation of Beatrix Potter to come to read to you all at StoryStock from her cousin’s wonderful stories. Of Crossroads fame, Nadine Hanwell brings the stories of her ancestor to life. She will read from a variety of Tales of Beatrix Potter, you’ll want her to read them all. – StoryStock

The event also has a range of other stories and authors to please any fan of fiction, ranging from Roald Dahl to Alan Alexander Milne.
