Christina Marie favourite to win The Voice UK

Ricky Wilson looks set to win The Voice UK at the weekend with his final act Christina Marie Wickens.

The 20-year-old from Bristol is favourite with the bookmakers to win the BBC singing contest on Saturday. Coached by Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson, Christina Marie won her place in the final after seeing off fellow team-mate Chris Royal.

Christina Marie, a legal secretary by day, will be facing Sally Barker, Jamie Johnson and Jermain Jackman in the grand final.

Pop princess Kylie Minogue will be hoping to win with her remaining act Jamie Johnson. Minogue and Wilson were drafted in for this series of The Voice to boost ratings. They replaced Jessie J and Danny O’Donoghue.

Sir Tom Jones, who won the first series with Leanne Mitchell will be hoping to repeat his success with Sally Barker. Will.i.am, who has never won, could prove successful this year with Jermain Jackman.

The Voice UK final kicks off on Saturday at 7.00pm on BBC One.
