Dr. Christian to front weight-loss factual series for Channel 4

Embarrassing Bodies star Dr. Christian Jessen is to front a weight-loss factual series for Channel 4.

Each episode of Fatonomics will see two contributors stake their own cash on losing more weight than their opponent.

Both will have failed to keep going with any diet or exercise regime in the past but will the fear of losing their own money make them finally shed the pounds and keep them off?

The series is part of a raft of new factual commissions for the broadcaster to air across 2014/2015.

Inside Out Home will see architectural genius Zac Monro answer home owners needs in amazing ways – overturning dull conformity by creating bold, individual and stylish pads that are not afraid to stand out proudly from the crowd.

The Shut-Ins will follow those who are held hostage by a life devoted to food providing them with specialist help to turn their lives around.

Frances Atkins’ Autumn Feasts will shine a spotlight on  the chef’s work at the award-winning Yorke Arms in Yorkshire, filming behind the scenes and front of house, observing the staff, diners and the symbiotic relationship between the kitchen and the customer.
