London Live secures Notting Hill Carnival broadcast rights

London Live has procured the broadcast rights to this year’s Notting Hill Carnival, working with London Notting Hill Carnival Enterprises Trust.

The capital’s first 24/7 entertainment channel will, across two shows, air three hours of content based around the carnival with coverage comprising of a one hour Sunday show focusing on how to get the best out of the carnival, followed by a two-hour live broadcast on bank holiday Monday which aims to capture the spirit of the event.

Throughout the programmes, which will air on Sunday 24th August between 6-7pm, and Monday 25th August between 3-5pm, the channel will also provide all of the latest travel and weather news for festival goers.

Viewers outside London will be able to tune in as coverage will be streamed to the London Live website, which can accessed using a PC, mobile or tablet.
