Black Moth flies off for UK headline tour
Black Moth will be hitting the road in September and October on their first headline tour, to promote the release of their long awaited 2nd album ‘Condemned To Hope‘.
Black Moth rose from the Leeds underground scene, taking their kaleidoscopic heaviosity and their love for Stooges squalor, Sabbath sulphur and stoner vibes, to create an onslaught of monumental riff sorcery and serpentine grace.
Their debut ‘The Killing Jar’ effortlessly transcended its influences to arrive at a nefarious and turbulent brew, equal parts horror movie atmosphere, thunderous drive and maverick spark, with Harriet Bevan’s biting and beguiling voice leading the charge.
It was a hit with fans and critics alike, even making it onto Kerangg’s top 50 albums of the year, leading to a tour with Turbowolf, and stonking sets at Download and Desertfest amongst others.
The 2nd album, produced like their first by Jim Sclavunos (Grinderman, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, The Cramps) takes their kaleidoscopic heaviosity and sepulchral style to a whole new plateau of riff-driven dementia.
