‘Celebrity Scrap Heap’ twist for Celebrity Big Brother

While tonight’s Celebrity Big Brother eviction has been postponed until next week, a live show will still go ahead this evening featuring the start of a nominations twist.

Since Wednesday the public have been voting – via the Big Brother app – for which celebrity they want to become the ‘Star of the Show’. This housemate will be tasked with sending others to a ‘Celebrity Scrap Heap’ situated in the garden, with those chosen to reside there automatically facing the first eviction of the series.

In tonight’s live show, that will as usual be hosted by Emma Willis, the outcome of the vote will be revealed to the house and the chosen housemate will assume their title. The ‘Star of the Show’ will then be instructed to send two of their fellow housemates to the scrap heap, where they will have to survive on scraps delivered to them in a bucket, whilst wearing drab jumpsuits, for the duration of the task.

Later, Big Brother will invite all of the housemates who are not on the scrap heap to a special party, however there’s a sting in the tale as tomorrow morning the ‘Star of the Show’ will have to choose a third housemate to send to the scrap heap, based on their interaction with the rest of the house at the party.

It is unclear whether the ‘Star of the Show’ will get to banish any further housemates to the ‘Celebrity Scrap Heap’ after that. However, the nominees will be locked in on Sunday ahead of the first eviction on Wednesday.
