Claire King and James Jordan are facing the first eviction of Celebrity Big Brother.
The former Emmerdale actress was nominated by ‘Star of the Show’ Leslie Jordan, while the outcome of a task saw Strictly pro James replace Frenchy in the line-up.
On Friday, Leslie was informed that viewers had voted him ‘Star of the Show’ and that he must banish housemates to a scrap heap located in the garden.
As an added twist the housemates remaining on the scrap heap last night were to be put up for the first public vote. Leslie immediately chose to put Gary and Frenchy on the scrap heap, before deciding that Kellie and David should join them.
Yesterday, Big Brother set the scrap heap dwellers a challenge titled ‘More or Less a Celebrity’. It saw Leslie called to the diary room where he was asked to rate the other housemates in a series of categories.
Meanwhile, Frenchy, Gary, Kellie and David were each assigned a category and took it in turns to have a go at the game. Each of the four had to progress along a chain of six pictures, deciding whether Leslie had voted the next housemate ‘more or less’ than the one before in that particular category.
Frenchy won the game and was afforded immunity from the first eviction. She was also given the opportunity to replace herself with another housemate and chose James. Afterwards, Leslie was asked to make a fifth and final nomination and eventually settled on Claire.
Gary, Kellie, David, James and Claire will all face Wednesday’s eviction which airs at 9.00pm on Channel 5.
