Peter Simon joins Ideal World
Peter Simon, a former Bid Up presenter, will join Ideal World TV on Wednesday 3rd September bringing unlimited fun & excitement to the masses the shopping channel has announced.
Simon started his career in children’s television and is perhaps most famous for presenting the Double Dare and Run the Risk segments of the popular BBC One Saturday morning children’s magazine show Going Live! in the 1980s and 90s. Moving into light entertainment and stand-up comedy in his later career, Peter has worked alongside some of the UK’s most well-known stars and in recent years became a popular personality on the now defunct Bid TV auction channel.

Peter will be joining Ideal World TV as a Guest Presenter on Wednesday 3rd September at 8pm for a special Bissell Blockbuster show of fantastic cleaning products to shape up your home and at 10pm with a selection of Swiss Eagle Timepieces, perfect gifts if you’re thinking about Christmas time.
Ideal World TV can be viewed on Sky channel 644, Freeview 22, Virgin 747 and Freesat 812.
Oh dear, not HIM again – he is awful, with his stupid, pretentious, totally uninformed dialogue and ludicrous grammatical errors amongst other things. If I hear him say ‘NOT ONLY’ again, I feel sure I shall put my foot through the TV screen!
If only he qualified ‘not only’ with a ‘but also’ it might sound a little better; however, it would not alter my opinion of him. Is he desperate or what? He keeps turning up all over the place – he was on gems TV (Gemporia) not long ago, but only once, as far as I know. Perhaps they didn’t like him?
