Channel 5 today announced that OAPs Behaving Badly will return in 2015. The new series follows the success of the first documentary which aired in July achieving 2.2 million viewers with a 9.6 per cent share.

“OAPs Behaving Badly was a huge success for Channel 5 this summer.  I’m really looking forward to seeing what other antics these larger than life seniors have in store for us in this full series commission.” – Guy Davies, Commissioning Editor – Factual at Channel 5

OAPs Behaving Badly will see more warmhearted, but excessive elderly characters living it large as they blow their pensions, winter fuel allowance and children’s inheritance on cheap booze, late nights and karaoke – while others ride superbikes decked out in leather and studs. We join silver haired swingers parties in the Home Counties, and then find other ravers taking recreational drugs, whilst in the great outdoors some are growing old disgracefully in the nude.

This series will feature a host of fresh faces as well as revisiting some of our favourite characters from the first film; including 74-year-old Leapy Lee and his excitable younger Scandinavian girlfriend, Bettina.  This series will follow more elderly exploits in winter sun resorts like Benidorm, Tenerife and Majorca; as well as partying capers closer to home in Newcastle and Brighton.

OAPs Behaving Badly is produced by London based independent Barcroft Productions and Shine International, the sales and distribution arm of Shine Group.  Executive Producers for Barcroft Productions are Sam Barcroft and Nina Davies
