Channel 5 respond to Perez’s shock ‘begging’ claim

Channel 5 has dismissed Perez Hilton’s claim that Big Brother producers ‘begged’ him to stay in the house.

During his eviction on Wednesday evening, he told Bit On The Side host Rylan Clark that a producer spoke to him in person and had ‘begged’ him to stay in the house. He was also allegedly told it was ‘The Perez Show’ and that because of him it was the best rated series in years.

Channel 5 have responded to the claims today, stating that housemates can leave the Big Brother house at any time they wish.

Perez says that he asked to leave several times and on 25th January, the celebrity blogger firmly insisted he wanted to go. Viewers watched Big Brother tell Perez that he would be put on the ‘ultimate secret mission’ and moved to a secret room, making him immune from being nominated.
