Jack declines £27,000 BMW in Big Brother twist, Nick nominates face to face

Big Brother 2015 - Jack Dilemma

Jack McDermott has declined an opportunity to walk away from Big Brother: Timebomb with a £27,000 BMW.

The 22 year old clocked up the most votes in a recent poll on the show’s official app, which asked viewers who they’d like win this year’s series and receive the next Timebomb. Instead of being crowned the actual winner of the show, Jack was called to the Diary Room where he was faced with a difficult choice. After being told that the result entitled him to a prize, the motor appeared on a plasma screen beside him, leaving him gobsmacked.

However, Big Brother informed non-driver Jack that his acceptance of the car would mean sacrificing his place on the show, while further repercussions would see the show’s prize fund reduced from £150,000 to zero. Jack was given thirty seconds to make his decision, resolutely opting to remain in the house.

“I appreciate everyone’s voted for me, but I’m staying. It might come back to bite me in the ass, but that’s the choice I’m making.” – Jack

Big Brother also dropped another Timebomb with Nick’s first set of face to face nominations, after his Timebomb during Tuesday’s live launch stipulated he must nominate face to face throughout his time in the House. Nick nominated Adjoa and Sarah. The rest of the house will nominate over the weekend.

Big Brother: Timebomb continues tonight at 9:20pm on Channel 5.
