Tinchy Stryder to host ‘hidden camera’ prank show

ITV2 is to air All About The Bants, the latest in hidden camera shows following in the legendary footsteps of Bob Monkhouse with Candid Camera and Jeremy Beadle’s Beadle’s About.

The new take on an old classic has been trendified and ramped up to today’s wiv-it ITV2 audience. The hidden camera show hosted by Tinchy Stryder sees pranks meet lad culture – all captured by those well disguised cameras. Accompanying Tinchy, the show features an all star cast including Facebook prankster Arron Crascall helping execute pranks on unsuspecting twenty-somethings across a number work and leisure locations.

Other new comedy commissions include The Comedy Basement which the channel say will bring ‘the sharpest, cutting edge black British comedians including Kojo and Eddie Kadi’ to UK screens. The programme will explore and demonstrate the wealth and depth of comedic talent in Britain’s vibrant black community while Sniggaz is a one-off comedy showcase of up and coming Black and Asian comics. The performers hit the streets in a mix of fast paced provocative hidden camera and character based pranks poking fun at prejudices and stereotypes.
