ITV revive Tonight At The London Palladium

Tonight At The London Palladium is to return to ITV screens after an absence of fifteen years following the success of the revived Sunday night version.

ITV have screened two series of the rebooted Sunday Night At The Palladium which first appeared on Independent Television, as was, back in 1955. In 2000 a Friday night spin-off version aired, hosted by Sir Bruce Forsyth, in Tonight At The London Palladium, the new version will be hosted by Bradley Walsh and is to begin airing this Spring.

The 2,200 strong audience inside the Palladium will also be featured and there will be huge surprises, special moments and prizes to be won.

Entertainer, actor and presenter Bradley Walsh who with his warmth and cheeky style will entertain audiences with plenty of surprises and introduce some of the biggest stars from music and comedy onto one of the world’s most famous stages, along with a host of spectacular specialist acts from around the world.

Tonight At The London Palladium was originally produced by Carlton Television, the new version is to be an ITV Studios production. ITV Studios was formed by the merger of Carlton and Granada in 2004. The original Sunday Night at the London Palladium, produced by ATV, ran from 1955 until 1965, it was renamed a couple of times including as The London Palladium Show and had a revival in the 1970s. Hosts included Tommy Trinder, Bob Monkhouse, Ted Rogers, Jim Dale and Jimmy Tarbuck.

The recent revived Sunday series has seen guest hosts front the show including Jason Manford, Jack Whitehall and Stephen Mulhern.
