Kerry Katona returns to Loose Women panel

Kerry Katona on Anglia TV's Loose Women 2002

Former show regular Kerry Katona is making a return to Loose Women as a guest panellist on today’s show.

“Kerry has always been hugely popular with the Loose Women viewers. She’s never been one to shy away from talking about the tough times she’s faced. Her openness and courage talking about her battles with depression makes Kerry the perfect panelist to raise awareness of mental health issues as part of our ‘Lighten the Load’ campaign.” – Loose Women editor Sally Shelford

As part of Loose Women’s mental health campaign ‘Lighten The Load’ Kerry will be discussing her own personal battles with depression, aiming to raise awareness and break the stigma. Kerry, who appeared as a Loose Women panellist 12 years ago, will join regular panellists Coleen Nolan, Sherrie Hewson and Gloria Hunniford this lunch time, to discuss the topics of the day and welcome the show’s celebrity guests.

Two of Kerry’s children, Molly, 14, and Lilly McFadden, 13, will be watching their mum from the studio audience. While Kerry has been a guest on the show a number of times since departing as a regular, this will be the first time she’s returned as a full-hour long panellist.

“I’m so excited to be invited onto the Loose Women panel. I’ve always had such a lovely time with the ladies, so I’m back for more! Although Katie Price won’t be there this time to spill all my secrets, I’m ready to let loose!” – Kerry Katona

As well as being a regular on Loose Women, Kerry also had a spell co-hosting This Morning for ITV and fronted her own reality programmes for MTV.
