Noreena Hertz joins ITV News’ expert line-up as Economics Editor.

ITN Productions, who produced the ITV News programming have revealed Noreena Hertz as their Economics Editor. She will lead all economics coverage, reporting and analysing the challenges of the UK economy and developments in international markets, across ITV’s full range of news programmes, appearing frequently on ITV News at Ten to discuss the economic developments of the day.

Noreena is an experienced economist and bestselling author, who has advised world leaders and CEOs on economic, geopolitical and technological trends and business decisions. She has a wealth of experience writing and presenting research about national and international economic issues. Most recently her research has focused on the future impact on the economy and democracy of what she has called “Generation K”, 14-21 year olds. Her research has been presented at the World Economic Forum in Davos, at the Women in the World Economic Summit in New York City and has been featured in publications including The Washington Post, The New York Times, The Daily Telegraph, El Pais, The Wall Street Journal, The Guardian, The Times and The Financial Times.

She has an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a PhD from the University of Cambridge. She also holds an Honorary Professorship at University College London.
