Made in Leeds shortlisted for six RTS Awards

City channel, Made in Leeds has been shortlisted for six awards at this year’s prestigious Yorkshire Royal Television Society ceremony.

Nominations include news bulletin, ‘On The Aire‘ being shortlisted for both ‘Best News Programme’ and ‘Best News Report’ for their reports on the local impact of the Paris attacks, the Christmas Floods and Ofsted. Other nomiations inlcude, Best Presenter: Peg Alexander for On Closer Inspection, Best Reporter: Mark Kielesz-Levine for On The Aire, Best Reporter: Matt Millington for On The Aire and One to Watch: Mark O’Brien.

The results follow ‘On The Aire‘ reaching the finals of the 2016 Proflic North awards for best ‘Broadcasting Programme – Factual’ for their coverage of the Yorkshire Floods which caused a devastating results for the homes and businesses around Leeds and the station celebrating latest BARB figures of 715,000 monthly viewers.
