Matt Tiffin, joins Remedy Productions as Head of Entertainment

Remedy Productions, part of the Argonon group, has announced that Matt Tiffin will be joining Remedy as Head of Entertainment, starting in July.

Remedy Productions bring to screen music, factual and entertainment content producing over 1000 hours of programming a year including Penguin A&E for Channel 5, Fifteen to One on Channel 4, Fired by Mum and Dad and Hire Me both for MTV UK. Tiffin’s remit will see him charged with leading Remedy’s entertainment team, further developing the production company’s creative offering and overseeing its entertainment production.

Previously selected as one of Broadcast magazines Hot Shots, Tiffin specialises in creative development and entertainment production, delivering projects on both sides of the Atlantic. In his new role, Tiffin will develop the company’s slate of entertainment content for the UK and global market as well as overseeing Remedy’s existing entertainment properties.

Tiffin joins from NBCUniversal, where he developed and series edited ITV’s The 21st Question and reformatted the US cable show Baggage into a primetime Channel 4 commission. Prior to NBCU Tiffin held senior development positions at Eyeworks UK and BBC Worldwide, where commissions included Sky 1’s Obese: A Year to Save My Life, NBC’s Great American Road Trip, GSN’s How Much is Enough, and BBC One’s Walk on the Wild Side.

Joining Creative Director Ted Hill and Head of Factual Entertainment Sophie Wurzer Williams, Tiffin will work to Chief Creative Officer Tom Blakeson and Managing Director Juliet Borges in continuing to develop a strong slate of entertainment content and oversee entertainment production.
