Bizarre ER moves to E4
E4 has commissioned a series of Bizarre ER, following previous runs on BBC Three and TLC.
The series looks at some of the most eye-watering cases to ever have been presented at British A & E departments, and originally aired on BBC Three for four series from 2008 until 2011. A fifth series, based in the USA, aired on TLC in 2013.

The brand new series, comprising of ten hour long episodes, will follow extreme and unusual casualties arriving at four hospitals across the UK: Dudley, Basingstoke, Warwick and Newport, Isle of Wight. Showing their journey – from the unfortunate moment they arrive at A&E in the wake of a mishap to the ensuing sympathy, surgery, stitches and suppressed laughter.
Bizarre ER will be produced by Maverick TV to air in Autumn 2016. A spin-off series, Bizarre Animal ER, has also aired on BBC Three.
