Big Brother producers have hit back at claims made by Andrew Tate as to why he was removed from the Big Brother house on Monday.

The 29-year-old kick boxing champion was ejected from Big Brother on Monday and took to Facebook to claim that producers gave him the boot as they were ‘worried’ about his ‘master plan’. After making his claim, Big Brother issued a statement saying that what Andrew had said was “completely false.”

“Channel 5 and Big Brother have become aware that Andrew Tate has posted a statement on Facebook about the circumstances of his departure from the Big Brother House. What Andrew says in that statement is completely false. Andrew was not removed because of his actions inside the House. Nor was he removed for tweets allegedly posted by him prior to his entering the House.” – Big Brother

Andrew was one of ‘The Others’ in this year’s Big Brother and was voted by the public last Friday to enter the main house to complete a task and earn housemate status. Upon his entrance, he gathered the housemates and called eight of them “snakes” leading to some housemates threatening him.

Big Brother has not revealed what the information is that led to him being removed from the programme. There is a live special tonight at 10.00pm, hosted by Emma Willis, where Big Brother is expected to reveal the big twist.

Meanwhile bookies are taking bets that the show could be taking its final bow. Following a number of complaints surrounding the new series of the long running reality show William Hill are offering 9/4 that the Elstree Studios based production won’t return in 2017, the shortest odds it has been for the show to return since the switch to Channel 5 from Channel 4.

“Viewing figures are dropping, numbers of complaints are rising and it would appear that BB is running out of ideas. It is a short price that the regular version of the show is canned in 2017.” – William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly

Odds on the winner for this series stand at: 7/2 Alex; 5/1 Jackson; 11/2 Hughie; 8/1 Andy; 9/1 Georgina; 10/1 Lateysha; 16/1 Jason; 16/1 Ryan; 20/1 Marco; 25/1 Chelsea; 25/1 Evelyn; 25/1 Sam; 33/1 Charlie; 33/1 Emma; 33/1 Jayne; 50/1 Laura; 50/1 Natalie

Big Brother continues tonight at 9.00pm, followed by the Live Twist Reveal at 10.00pm on Channel 5.
