Carol Vorderman admits she felt the burn when she had a naked gym session

Carol Vorderman has revealed that she once got so hot during a workout that she stripped naked, before falling and burning herself.

“It was last Summer and I thought it’s about time I did a bit of fitness,” explained Carol. “I hate the gym so I got this treadmill and put it in an alcove in a room at home.  I started running and you don’t half get hot, don’t you, when you’re running? Me being me I got off and thought, ‘I’ll just take my kit off and get back on again’.” Admitting she was naked, Carol continues, “I forgot that it was still running, got back on, I went like that (she acts falling), the belt was still going and I burned here (points to bum), here (points to legs) and all down my back.  It was awful.”

Carol makes this revelation on tonight’s Safeword, hosted by Rick Edwards. The outrageously competitive panel show pushes celebrities to their limits.  The more punishments the guests can take, the more points they’ll score, but if things go too far they can use a safe word to make everything stop.

In this week’s episode the broadcasting legend Carol Vorderman goes head to head with Made in Chelsea’s Jamie Laing as they have their social media accounts hijacked and their professional lives poked by team captains Katherine Ryan and David Morgan, alongside comics Tiff Stevenson and Patrick Monaghan.

Katherine Ryan and team take over Carol’s Twitter and lead her followers to believe that Carol made a sex tape many years ago, which is going to be released to the public.

The initial tweet reads: “Hey guys, just want to let you know, there might be a story in tomorrow’s papers about me #regretsfrommyyouth #vhs #betamax”.  Being a good sport and wanting to win points, Carol initially allows the tweet to be posted.  The next tweet posted on her behalf reads: “Is it illegal for someone to release private videos of you from your past? #robkardashian #hairypast #bringbackbush”.  Carol also allows this to be tweeted, and a third one which reads: “I want to release it before the papers do.  You’re going to see my ‘Consonant Vowel Consonant Consonant’ #Twofromthetoponefromthebottom

During the show Carol receives messages from concerned friends advising her to delete the tweets, and when threatened with an extreme tweet discussing a sex act involving Carol she finally uses her safe word to prevent things from going any further.
