Davood Ghadami for Strictly Come Dancing 2017

Actor Davood Ghadami is the second celebrity confirmed for Strictly Come Dancing 2017.

The news was revealed this morning (8 August) on Strictly‘s social media accounts.

Davood is best known for his role as ‘hunky’ Kush Kazemi in BBC One saga EastEnders which he has been playing for the last three years. He has won Best Newcomer at the TV Choice Awards for playing the character who was notably involved in a harrowing stillbirth plot.

His first television undertaking was an episode of The Bill in 2005 and he has also been in Doctor Who, Taggart and Silent Witness. On stage, Davood has played Amir in 13 at the National Theatre, as well as working extensively for York Theatre Royal and Pilot Theatre.
